Welcome to my model railroad and Swedish cooking website. After flunking retirement twice (at least) I am spending more time focusing on family, trains, teaching, and research.
I can be reached via email at steve_erickson@speritrains.net
CLINICS provides links to a variety of sites that provide instruction on aspects of model railroading.
The Old Colony Division is under construction!!
The unfinished basement in the condo I moved into a few years ago is now undergoing some changes. Medical issues, the pandemic, and other activities put the construction on hold, but the contractors are on their way. Photos to be posted soon!
Hi Steve, hoping to hear from you regarding a worthy donation for my Bachmann trains out of Seekonk. If you don’t have any use for them at this time let me know I have some folks who are interested and as much as I would love a charitable organization I don’t want to string anyone along. Thanks Joe

Steve I did no u know you were a model train enthusiast!! I have collected HO trains, engines, and buildings (not built yet), for years. I need to make time now to pursue this hobby.
Sounds great! Still working on getting to Maine — hopefully sooner rather than later. Also, do you have any pictures of the inn? Inside? Outside? Especailly back side? I have some great postcards.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
