I am trying hard to ensure that my railroad properly reflects the reality of 1938.  So I do a lot of research, especially to ensure proper signage.  I just got the Fos Scale fireworks store in the mail. (You can  see it at http://foslimited.com//index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=73)   I noticed that the flag is a 50 star flag, not 48.  So off to the internet to find a properly proportioned 48 star flag.  In doing that I found some images of fireworks catalogs and advertisements from the same era.  So they will go on the walls as well.

I will post the build as a quick project, since I do not plan to superdetail it, just make it look like something that would have been on a boardwalk of retail shops.  Since I have set the scene as mid-September, I will probably be putting a “closing for the season” sign on it as well
