Excelsior!

Things done today:

Added a link in maps under building a layout to mytopo historic maps — a real find.

Added the “Workbench” page to the main menu on the left and put placeholder pages in place for the stone wall and scratchbuilding presentations

Revised the Swedish Cooking page, but still no recipes.

I have been working on a rotation of buildings for the past week or so, allowing me to put aside something if I have to think about the next step or something needs to dry for a while.  Currently up is a kit by BEST of the machine shop at the O.P. Berry Excelsior Mill in Wolfboro, NH.  At one point the excelsior they made was used in almost all the teddy bears produced in America.  I have plans for the complete complex, and mockups for most of the buildings.  The machine shop with power plant and penstock is the first step forward in building an uncompressed diorama of the original.

The building will be on a slope; the unshown side will have a deck and loading area at what appears to be the second floor on this photo.

Hope to have the deck and walkway installed on the other side shortly, will post a picture of that when I do.
